Gifted youthYoung Mensans (under age 18) are one of the fastest-growing segments of American Mensa’s membership, and Mensa has a full-time Gifted Youth Coordinator who supports Young Mensans and their families.

We understand your desire to see your son or daughter enjoy his or her ability, as well as challenge it, and we can help you with resources and information on raising a gifted young person or acquring the right teaching materials. Added to those resources is a wide range of discounts on magazines such as Scientific American MIND. Other cost-savings include:

GiftedandTalented.com, the premier online community for accelerated learners K-12 and the parents and educators that support their development. Guided by ongoing research at Stanford University, GiftedandTalented.com offers innovative computer-based, multimedia courses in mathematics, english language arts, science and computer programming. Mensa members receive a 15% discount in addition to a 10% discount off enrollment when you select auto re-enrollment. Email our Gifted Youth Coordinator with your child's member number to obtain the discount code.

The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth identifies and develops the talents of the most advanced K-12 learners worldwide. The Center offers Young Mensans a 10 percent discount on their online courses. When applying, young Mensans must provide proof of current membership via a copy of their up-to-date membership card. This discount is not available for summer programs.

The McGraw-Hill ONboard Series for Advanced Placement offers a 20 percent discount on McGraw-Hill's AP prep courses. The ONboard Series is an online, interactive program designed to help incoming AP students build the background knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their upcoming AP coursework and beyond. Topics include biology, history, environmental science, psychology, government and economics.
